Description
Join beams with a Simpson joist hanger. It allows easy and quick fastening. The top-mount joist hanger provides support for strong joints. With 18-gauge steel, it resists downward force for structural stability. The 2 9/16-in W x 9 1/2-in L galvanized steel hanger offers corrosion and rust resistance.
- Securing the carried I-joist is simple, requiring only one or two screws into the bottom flange through the seat of the hanger
- The optional triangle nail holes may be used for increased uplift
- These hangers cannot be modified but will accommodate a skew of up to 5-degrees
- Seat width: 2-9/16-in
- Height: 9-1/2-in
- Actual joist size: 2-1/2-in to 2-9/16-in x 9-1/2-in
- Made from 18-gauge steel
- Galvanized (G90) for extra corrosion resistance
- Install with 0.148-in x 3-in nails in the header and #8 x 1-1/4-in wood screws in the joist
