Description
Use this Simpson deck post tie to connect stringers and rims. It's ACQ approved, which makes it environment friendly. The deck post tie comes with a steel construction which makes it durable. Install the deck post with an assortment of nails.
- Connects a 2x4 post to the outside of stair stringers and rim joists on decks or stairs in new or retrofit construction
- Easier than through-bolting
- Nominal post size: 2x4
- Made from 14-gauge steel
- ZMAX galvanization offers extra corrosion resistance for exterior and treated-wood applications

- Install with 3/8-in diameter machine bolts and 10d x 1-1/2-in nails or #9 x 1-1/2-in Strong-Drive SD screws
