This Simpson Strong-Tie(R) hanger is made of robust, 18-gauge steel with a galvanized finish for added durability. With an actual width of 1 5/8", it is designed provide support underneath joists, beams or rafters with a nominal thickness of 2", ensuring a strong connection. With its total length of 17 3/16", you can adjust it to meet your needs. This hanger can be installed as top flange or face mount hangers.
