Why is there one of three different engines if I buy this model. I am sure they are all great Engines . I would like to know up front what I am going to get.

Great Machine!
This machine is a little Bull Dog. Starts with one pull and gets the job done! I use it for cleaning and with the turbo nozzle it blasts anything in its path. The neighbours will know you are power washing as it’s a bit noisy, but would very much recommend this unit.

Poorly thought out and made
I purchased this power washer because of Simpsons reputation, however I have to say this model is off the mark. The handle for the wand is only good for storage, it will not stay in place and it pushes against the exhaust.
The real problem was the adapter fitting Simpson used on the OEM water pump to their hose. It has always leaked, I finally purchased a new hose to attempt to it from leaking, only to realize their hose comes with the wrong adapter. Once I found this very specific adapter, and purchased it, upon installing it, it completely stripped due to incorrect thread length. There is an O ring in there, which will never do anything since the pump will not receive such a long fitting. = always leaking. I should of purchased a cheaper model what would in fact not leak.

Works well with one flaw
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pressure washer works fine. But it moves around itself around while working. It is quite annoying. I put the lumber blocks in both front and rear sides of the wheels, the moving issue got better, but still couldn't fix it.

Starts on first pull, and WOW the power!
Unboxed it, added oil, read through the instructions, added fuel. Pulled the starter line... out of the box it started on the first pull! I proceed to use this Megashot for an entire weekend, almost 14 hours of time. This machine did not fail me once, and started on the first pull every single time. The power of this thing is remarkable, and it has so far been A VERY WORTHWHILE PURCHASE and would definitely purchase again.

Great for DIYers
I bought this a few weeks ago. I also bought a 16" surface cleaner to clean my patio and driveway. It worked great. My son used it on his house this past weekend and it looks great.
Wished it had a longer handle for moving it around.
