Is it waterproof and weather resistant when using exterior?
Thank you for your inquiry. Sika Boom 3XL is weather resistant. It is designed to stop the movement of air in various building applications. As such it is not recommended for waterproof applications as the primary waterproofing defense. It is designed for windows, doors, and penetrations. If left uncovered on exterior applications, it should be over painted or covered with a high-quality polyurethane sealant like Sikaflex Construction sealant.

Fonctionne très bien
Ce produit rempli très bien les grandes cavités, mais attention, il faut y aller par couches minces car il gonfle de 3 fois.
J'en suis fort satisfait.

Good value, great product
The size of the straw is perfect: gets into tight gaps, when needed, and easy to attach tubing to if you need to spray back further inside a cavity. (other brands have a huge fat tube that's more reusable, but can't get in as many tight spots).
I wouldn't count on it being "reusable" -- once you start using it, you have maybe 20-30 minutes at most to complete using it. As long as you plan for this, it's fine.
It expands a LOT, which is very useful when you need that, but if you have it already expanding out to where you need it by the time you're done dispensing, count on there being a lot extra. The first can I used I way over-filled the cavity, and came back later to find it had expanded out so far it dripped down the (unfinished) wall while still sticky, making a mess.
A nice touch is it comes with (very cheap) plastic gloves in the cap. They're not as nice as regular nitrile gloves, but means you definitely don't have to use bare hands.
Definitely recommend.
