Description
This Sika self-levelling cement underlayment is made for interior floors and its thickness varies from 1/25 in. to 1 1/2 in. Made of polymer-modified cement with ViscoCrete technology, this product is fast-setting and installs quickly. It can be applied on concrete, wood, ceramic or any other material. It covers a maximum of 3.8 square feet at 1 1/2 in thick. Each bag contains 22.7 kg of product.

do we need to use concrete bonding agent with Sika MonoTop 622 F Fiber Mortar?
Thank you for your inquiry. In regards to Sika Level 125 All concrete and cement substrates must be primed using Sika® Level-01 PrimerCA, or where concrete/cement and wood substrates exist, Sika® Level-03 PrimerCA may be used. In regards to Sika MonoTop 622, it should only be mixed with water. Remove all deteriorated concrete, dirt, oil, grease, other bond inhibiting materials from surface. Preparation work should be done by chipping, high-pressure waterblasting or other appropriate mechanical means. Obtain substrate aggregate fracture with a minimum surface profile of ± 3 mm (1/8 in).

should I apply a sealant or adhesive of some sort on the existing concrete prior to applying the Sika Level?

All concrete and cement substrates must be primed using Sika® Level-01 PrimerCA, or where concrete/cement and wood
substrates exist, Sika® Level-03 PrimerCA may be used.
The substrates must be dry, clean and stable before priming and applying the underlayment. Remove all existing
treatments such as coatings, sealers, wax, latex compounds, impregnations and curing agents, together with all
contaminants i.e. dirt, dust, laitance, grease, oils, and foreign matter, which will interfere with the penetration of
Sika® Level-01 PrimerCA or Sika® Level-03 PrimerCA

J'ai utilisé ce produit et suivi les instructions pour la quantité d'eau soit 4l mais le résultat n'est pas uniforme. Dois-je appliquer une couche d'apprêt avant de couler une autre couche de béton autonivelant avec 5l eau par sac ?

It works!!
Definitely is self-levelling, easy to use, clear instructions, but is very expensive.

Very easy to work with and great results
I don't understand why the reviews are so low for this product. I have never mixed concrete in my life
but using this was very easy. I just mixed 4 buckets to cover roughly 5x8 bathroom and everything worked great.
I did however add slightly more water to the mix, 4.5L vs recommended 4.1 because of all the negative reviews about the concrete not flowing.
Now 24hrs later the floor is perfectly leveled. I am impressed how easy it was.

Didn’t adhere to concrete well
About this and put it in and it cracked up after just a few weeks being a half an inch at least thick and more in places and it didn’t adhere to the other concrete well.
I hope they improve on their product So that it sticks to the concrete better.

This is a good product, you have to work the product, not just dump it and watch it flow, c'mon. Some of the reviews are like the product is going to do the work! I bought this so that I could do the project, the product did what it was suppose to. If it needs more water... add more!

It’s no good
I've used this product several times because the competitors brand isn't available in my area. It's horrible. It does not self level. 4 litres per bag is not enough water.

Recurring error for this product.
Using the water quantity indicated on the bag, there is marginal flow/fluidity to accomplish levelling. (A common recurring coment). Ordinary Portland cement mixed with fine sand as a slurry could achieve a better result at a fraction of the cost. Not recommended.

Working time 12-15 minutes
This product does NOT self-level. You WILL have to intervene with at least a straight edge; forget what you see in the online videos. The product does not have enough "Polymer" in the cement to make it flow well; basically, they're selling you mostly cement. Unless you have dips in your subfloor >1/4 inch, I wouldn't bother using this product. You have <15 minutes to use it before it gets too dense to work with; this means that it's good only if you've got a huge sunken area and all you have to do is fill it by pouring the cement. Even then, sometimes it'll just sit there and not flow. I do not recommend using this product as it's doesn't do what it claims to do and is NOT user-friendly.

Does not level
I poured this yesterday and after checking today found many dips/low points and highs, enough that I now have to sand and repour areas and I'm extremely frustrated. It was very thick at the recommended water amount and we smoothed it as best we could when pouring it, but we expected it to level itself which it did not. I do not recommend.
