Join wood, carpet, tile or vinyl with this Shur-Trim oak floor edging for a seamless look. With a 1290-lb Janka-rated hardness, the red oak reducer tolerates steady foot traffic. The seam-binder floor moulding bridges the gap between adjacent flooring of the same level. Highly dense, it resists scratches to keep maintenance simple. Apply clear or coloured stain to this unfinished moulding, so it matches a room's overall appearance. Pre-drilled, it's ready to accommodate screws or nails for quick installation. Get a precise fit when you slice it with a power cutter. Oak is a widespread tree species, so the production of this wood floor moulding has minimal environmental impact. A plus for eco-conscious homeowners, the edging is also biodegradable. Each strip measures 3 ft L x 1 3/4 in W x 3/8 in x T.
