Is this tent wind and snow proof?
Hello Arkel, these gazebos are not live load rated. Anchoring the shelter securely is critical to wind resistance and keeping snow off the roof area is strongly recommended. To discuss further, please give us a call at 1 866-901-1649.

Campground garage
I have seen these shelters all around our campground and was very skeptical at first, but then I looked in one.
I now have an 10x10x8 sitting on an 11foot by 11 foot deck in it we have a refrigerator for drinks, all the tools I use for my wood working projects in camp, and a 40 inch wood lathe for special projects.
The 10 by 15 by 8 foot shelter logic shed I have modified by installing a set of zippers on the other end so we can store our golf cart on one end and the lawn chairs and umbrellas on the other.
I'm considering getting another 10 by 10 by 8 for use as a sewing room for my industrial sewing machine, which as you may guess comes in very handy at a campground.
I'm extremely happy with my Shelter Logic shelters and would recomend them to anyone looking to keep possessions out of the weather.

Nice shelter
This is our second auto shelter from Shelter Logic. We use it to house our tractor and riding mower, as well as a shelf for various farm supplies. Including the time it took to organize all of the components, it took 3 hours for 2 people to build.

good to have.
To start, I had an AS for close to 19 years before needing to replace it. Wow! right. Ordering was a breeze and was delivered promptly. Now comes a small negative. How the AS is packaged. The cardboard box split in transit (was taped at some point) and the frame poles were loose. They should be tied together some how, maybe zipties, because the pieces were sliding out of the split side of the box. A very heavy (270#) box. Other than that all was good. Love my AS and hope to have this one for 19 years.

Not As Good As They Used To Be
Once upon a time I had purchased a Autoshelter for our previous home. Unfortunately I lost it in the Campfire in Paradise, California along with our home. I purchased another one for our new home in Paradise to cover a cattery to protect the critters. When assembling the new one I was disappointed. The quality as good as the old one. Many of the poles were poorly drilled and when bolted together they weren't fitted tightly. Many of the holes drilled too close to the end and one of them was right on the end of the pole and "hung" off the pole. Looks more like a "U" on the end of the pole. Not exactly secure. It seems as though the tent actually holds it together. Very disappointing.

The tan cover is very susceptible to tearing on the metal frames. I did,'t have it up very long before I noticed a tear in the right corner frame.

Tore in under a year!
We’ve had this up for less than a year to store our riding mower and other yard work items. It was awesome until a few weeks ago when we saw a tear beginning to form near the edge of the tent tarp. I reinforced it with duct tape both inside and outside. Not even two weeks later another tear started. We found one more rip randomly on the side panel that looks like a straight tear in the material. For how much this thing costs, I would expect the cover to last at least an entire year! So disappointed and worried my stuff will get destroyed if we ever have snow this winter!
