Description
Start and finish outdoor landscaping projects with treated brown wood from Select. This wood is treated with a solution that makes it resistant to rot and insects. At 2 inches thick and 6 inches wide, the lumber is especially suited for use in porches or fencing. Easily install pressure-treated wood using countersunk wood screws or galvanized nails. The brown wood is a deep, rich colour, and does not require additional staining. All you need to do is apply wood preservative once a year. Note that if you cut this pressure-treated wood, you then need to treat the newly exposed ends.
- Its unique ability to fend off decay makes it ideal in any high moisture and/or ground contact installations
- Not only is it beautiful, it's inexpensive, easy to work with and doesn't require any specialized tools

Replaced a deck approx 12×25'. Old untreated deck lasted about 20 years. 7 months after using this lumber it's split and twisted and still splitting. Super disappointing. Could put a level on it anywhere when completed now hardly a straight board on the whole thing
