How is it hinged with or without a door frame?
The door comes with spring loaded hinges that mount on the outside surface of the door frame on the side that the door swings out. Each leaf (i.e. mounting plate) is 1-1/2" wide, so you need a stable surface at least that wide to securely mount the door.
