WORST SEED
STARY AWAY FROM THIS SEED, YOU'LL GET REALLY LONG WEED GRASS. I've tried pulling them out, it's a pain. Never buying scotts again. Worst Seed Ever!

The worst grass seed ever
I have seeded a lot of lawns over the years, always had great results.
Purchased 12 bags used 10. NOTHING. RETURNED 2. Area to be seeded 20'x10''
The old Scott's bags worked great for another area. Don't waste your money. Looking for alternate.

Terrible
I bought (not)Awesome in April, it’s been cold here so it was slow to germinate. I bought another bag to add to the first. It’s terrible, some of the grass is course, grows 4 times faster than the rest. It has wide long blades, it the worst I’ve seen. Not at all like the description or the picture. I’m 79, I've been digging out 1 blade at a time. I can’t stand it. The saleswoman was horrified when she saw pictures of it and recommended a different brand. Should I put vinegar on the rest to kill it, then wait a few weeks and reseed with a better seed from a different company. The rest of the grass looks normal, the terrible ones look like weeds. I did not expect to buy this, I’ll never get Scott’s again.

sooo thick - in 3 weeks I had a lawn
Unbelievable results. I laid new top soil and then fertilized and rototilled and packed and raked. Seeded and watered. 2 weeks later I had a very good growth coming in. I am now at 5 weeks and it is almost completely filled in. I had 2 areas where is was very shady and low so I kinda drowned the little guys, but I reseeded there and it is almost filled in. Only used 1/2 a bag of seed for the entire area. Totally recommend.
