Scotch® Masking Tape for Professional Painting is designed with paper backing consisting of 30% post-consumer waste fibres. It is designed with a medium adhesion rubber-based adhesive and is ideal for masking trim and woodwork around the home, office and business.
Scotch® Masking Tape for Professional Painting is a green masking tape with a medium level of adhesion that is designed to release cleanly and easily from previously painted surfaces such as windows, doors, wall trim and cabinets. The tape can also be used on carpets and vinyl flooring. It conforms well to most surfaces, and produces good paint lines. It also allows for clean removal for up to five days. Made from 30% post consumer recycled fibres.

Not fit for purpose. Do not buy.
Seems normal when you peel it off the roll but extremely diffficult to remove after two days. Tears, leaves sticky residue, lifts paint of the surface you are trying to mask. The worst 'masking' tape I have ever used!! The rolls are from different batches/widths and are within the 12 month date of manuufacture. Unbelievable, has happened on multiple rolls. Never again!

disgraceful
I'm so angry at having used this tape. It stuck to 3 different surfaces - timber, painted metal, metal - and has taken hours to try and remove (including from my neighbour's fence). Absolutely disgraceful - never again. Avoid like the plague!

Bought two days ago. Used it to mask on skirting boards that were primed. After being on there for two days tried to take it off and it just kept tearing off in little pieces. Took about an hour to remove 15m. Absolute rubbish. I will never use it again

Dreadful to remove
True that it leaves behind "no sticky residue", but this tape has no structural integrity that it instead will keep ripping itself in half until you're left with tiny pieces stuck to your walls nearly impossible to remove. I have never used painters tape that behaves as poorly as this one when removing, especially one that prides itself with being clean to remove.
