No , it can not be stained ... it’s not wood ... it’s got a printed wood grain veneer on it.

I give up!!!
Been trying to write a review for this product for 30 minutes +... Somehow, always have to start over again...
This is a cheap table.
Advertisement stating that it is made of reclaimed wood but it is simply a bunch of pressed wood chips and a cheap film of melamine paper for finish...
The screws that come with it are ridiculously cheap and no matter how gentle you are, they will warp, it's like they are made of plastic...Never seen something made so fragile...
Do not recommend.

I am more than happy with my purchase. It is sturdy and looks beautiful. My husband took a long time to assemble the table but he was finally able to get it done 'without reading the instructions'

Very difficult to assemble
Very difficult to assemble. Fiberboard junk! Looks ok once done but will not last at all and getting the drawers to work is near impossible!

Nice design
I purchased this 1 month ago as it then stated "reclaimed wood". As recently stated, it is composite wood. I do not find it very sturdy.
