Description
Use these Gator sandpapers for your automotive repair jobs. They measure 9 in W x 11 in L. These ultra-fine sandpapers feature silicon carbide abrasives fixed on pliable, waterproof paper for desired outcomes. They're also bonded with resin to hold out against high temperatures and moisture for durability.
- 600 Grit sheets are best for sanding between coats of paint and to wet sand primer coats
- When sanding wood, 600 grit waterproof sheets are ideal for smoothing and de-nibbing top coats, as well as surface preparation before soft rub out of cured top coats
- Made with premium silicon carbide grain, which offers a higher cut rate and uniform scratch pattern which makes it perfect for achieving fine finishes
- Use dry during the preparation phase of a project, usually when removing existing finishes, rust and oxidation
- Use dry when sanding and shaping body fillers and primer coats
- The ultra flexible latex backing offers ultimate flexibility and allows the sheets to be soaked in water for an extended duration for wet sanding
- The grain is resin bonded for superior grit adhesion
- Use with water to help lubricate the surface during sanding which helps to prevent build-up of particles on your sandpaper and helps reduce scratches on your project
- Sheets can be cut-to-fit 1/2 sheet, 1/3 sheet, or 1/4 sheet sanders
