Description
The Dremel 3000 is the result of upgrading our most popular rotary tool using user-requested features to improve the tool/s design and ergonomics. The tool also features the EZ Twist(TM) nose cap with an integrated wrench that allows the nose cap to be used as a wrench to tighten accessories and eliminates the need for a separate wrench. A more efficient fan design and side vents provide a cooler running tool making it comfortable for extended periods of use. The tool also features a symmetrical design including a trumpet-shaped nose cap to facilitate a pencil-grip tool hold. The ability to use all existing Dremel rotary tool accessories and most attachments let the 3000 complete a wide range of applications including cutting, grinding, sanding, carving and polishing a variety of materials. 2-year limited warranty.

Small, convenient second unit
I have used a Dremel Model 732 with a foot pedal for many years, and it has worked well in my workshop. I bought this Model 3000 to have a lighter, more portable unit that I can take to the garage or my boat. Conveniently, it fits on the same stand I made for the 732. I like the fact that many tools are interchangeable with the small handpiece on the old unit. The 3000 works well, although it lacks the power of my older unit for heavier work.

Cool tool
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is absolutely cool! I’ve done a few very cool projects with this cool tool and I must say it outperforms each and every time. Cool!! Actually cool isn’t the coolest word for this thing it’s just the cool word I preferred.overall a pretty cool tool.

Great tool Dremel 3000 kit.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought Dremel 3000 kit for my project. Needed to grind rust, and sand hard to get to areas. My friend recommended Dremel. It work very fast with lots if power, tools included it kit were very helpful. Finished my project patio railings. Now working on my dinning room table.. recommended to a couple of friends. They went out a bought one also.. Thank you great tool. And I have many more projects. Will be buying more if your products

Versatile and useful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this around June to use for the occasional odd job, but I have found it useful in so many situations. Add in the variety of accessories, and I am rapidly filling up a drawer in my workbench just for the Dremel, as it is becoming my go-to tool. I am also exploring different hobbies because of it. I will definitely be purchasing a cordless version to be even more versatile.

best arts & crafts tool I've ever had!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the 3000-1/25H is the best tool in my arts & crafts workbench! with the right bit (I often use dental burrs from my orthodontist) I can even carve artsy figures in stones (like agates from the Oregon coast)... and the drill press I also have makes for the most accurate drilling and milling machine for my HO and O scale model railroad and wooden ship-building hobbies... if you're an artist, hobbyist or craftsman, you NEED a Dremel with the Tool Kit and Drill Press!

Works well for our use
Purchased this to replace an old 200 model. MUCH more power and easy to use. We use it mostly for trimming hard dog nails.. Works very well and has finer speed controls than our old one.
