Description
Save on energy bills using this expanding polyurethane sealant. It creates an airtight seal around pipes, electrical boxes, vents and ductwork. This 12-oz container of yellow weatherproofing material produces the equivalent of 10 or more tubes of caulking. The product seals cavities up to 2 in dia., which prevents air leaks for an energy-efficient home. With effective moisture-deterrent properties, it prevents the growth of mould and mildew for pure indoor air. Point-and-spray action offers easy installation, so this polyurethane sealant is a practical choice for DIY tasks. Once the seal cures, it retains its shape for a long time, offering reliable performance for many years. Using this foam crack sealant is also an efficient way to reduce noise within the home.

Totally failed.
I bought this to use around the house, but the can failed. I followed the instructions to the letter and installed the straw correctly, I shook it for over a minute, but the foam
didn't even come out of nozzle, only around it. I won't buy it again! I'll buy "Great Stuff" next time!

Excellent produit
J'ai utilisé ce produit pour isoler le tour d'une nouvelle porte. Pour l'avis négatif précédent, c'est écris en caractères gras de ne pas utiliser dans un espace clos! Normal qu'il y ait des grosses bulles.

A cheap knockoff that doesn't do the job.
By mere chance, I purchased this "cheap" insulating expansion foam to help with my son's junior high science experiment. I was out of Great Stuff in the shop & thought I'd buy some cheap spray foam for this purpose.
We built an insulated container (small bottle wrapped in tin foil inside a larger bottle) & filled the void with the Rona spray foam. We constructed this in the evening and the foam appeared to do it's job in filling the void completely and providing a nice insulating layer. By morning I noticed a few large air pockets had formed. I was a little bothered but by the time 18hrs had passed the air pockets became excessively large.
I'm posting this review so people can see the complete ineffectiveness of this product as a gap or void insulating sealant. It's garbage & simply doesn't do what it's supposed to. Problem is, from what most people would see you'd never be the wiser. Obviously it cures fine when exposed to air but dissolves itself prior to fully curing. DON'T BUY THIS!!!
