Self-adhesive membrane composed of SBS modified bitumen. Aluminum color. 6 in x 16.4 ft. This membrane is perfect for flashings and repairs, as well as other maintenance jobs around the house, cottage or farm. UV resistant. Reflects heat. Flexible at low temperatures. Withstands exterior temperature fluctuations. Can be covered with acrylic paint. Effective and hard-wearing. Clean and easy installation. Requires no special tools.

Can I use as a sealant over the vinyl roll I laid down in my bathroom?
Thank you for your recent inquiry and your interest regarding our product. We would recommend that you contact our technical team for full details, but in general, vinyl is not a compatible substrate for bitumen membranes.

Can this be used at or just below grade?
Thank you for your recent inquiry and your interest regarding our product. This product is UV resistant so it is mainly for above grade but could be installed below grade too. However, in some situation such as vertical application, you might be advisable to mechanically fasten the product at the top. Not easy to use.
Have to peel the clear stuff bit by bit to expose the sticky part. Took hours getting it off before it can be used.

Great product
I used this product around some skylights about ) years ago, and again just now around some new skylights. (Rather than buy the expensive flashing kit). Warming if really helps.
Once it was stuck down I used a heat gun to really bond it to the steel, pressing with a rag as I went.
