Description
Insulate your home and save on energy costs with this Resisto™ insulation. It has a high R-value and resists heat transfer to create a comfortable home. A layer of air bubbles is sandwiched between a metalized polyethylene face and white polyethylene face using reflection to reduce heat transfer for high performance. The radiant-barrier make-up of the reflective foil insulation deflects heat both inwards and outwards to maintain a temperate living environment. Rated from -50 degrees F to 180 degrees F, the vinyl insulation performs year-round. It's quick to install as it doesn't require any special tools. Cut it with a utility knife and staple or tape it into place. Its polythene surface makes it easy to clean. The 8-mm thick insulation measures 48 in x 62 1/2 ft and is strong enough to be laid under concrete. It's vapour retardant to stop moisture from passing and prevent the growth of mould and mildew. The reflective foil insulation is UV resistant for lasting service.

Bonjour, l'isolant réfléchissant Resisto M2V pourrait répondre à vos besoins. Vous devez installer le produit avec le côté réfléchissant vers l'intérieur pour garder la chaleur radiante à l'intérieur de vos murs. Vous pouvez ensuite installer des fourrures de bois 1x3 à l'horizontale à une distance de 16 pouces et installer votre gypse. Bonjour je veut isoler mes conduits galvanisé de 5 pouces de diamètre de mon échangeur d'air récupérateur de chaleur, est-ce bon ? et si oui le coté métallisé va t-il à l'extérieur ?

Oui ce produit est ce qu'il vous faut. Le côté métallisé doit faire face au côté d'où vous voulez que la chaleur ou l'air froid est à conserver.
Pour un résultat optimal, utilisé également les bande de 2'' x 25' pour créer un jeu d'air entre le tuyau et le M2V ce qui va optimiser l'effet entre le produit et le tuyau.

Not what I expected!
Its a good product but only silver foil on one side. The other side is white. Much less efficient than the double foil. The discription did not disclose this!
Used to add extra insulation on my insulated garage doors. 5 degrees warmer on the face of the covered door so still effective.
