Simply plug into the outlet you’re looking to test; flip the circuit breaker you think is associated with the outlet and the Circuit Scout will sound if the breaker matches. Devices hosts the option for a louder audible signal to identify over multiple floors or longer distances. The sonic will shut off once the associated breaker is turned off (or the Circuit Scout is unplugged).
