Description
The Velocity 270IR is full of features, including a sensor steam handle and 8 preprogramed settings that put you in control to give you the ultimate ironing experience. The patented built-in steam generator produces endless continuous steam with no leaks. While traditional irons are prone to leaking and spitting, the Velocity irons use a patented 2-heating element and micro-pump technology that pre-heats the water and turns it into steam before it reaches the sole plate. This iron will give you perfect constant steam at even the lowest temperatures, 100% safe for all fabrics.
- Touch sensor technology: Simply placing your hand on the sensor activates the stream of steam and releases a powerful and steady flow
- Digital dial with 8 settings to adjust the accurate temperature and steam volume for the clothes
- Scratch-resistant and durable anodized aluminum sole plate for an easy gliding (The anodization process of the sole plate gives it an extra layer of protection)
- Audible warning that lets you know when the iron is ready
- Auto shut-off feature that ensures the iron is turned off automatically after 8 minutes

Now I Like Ironing
This iron is great. I use mine primarily for sewing and this iron create a good amount of steam and great creases. I’ve even starting irons my other clothes instead of throwing in the dryer to de wrinkle. A great investment piece

Get steamy
I really love my new iron! It heats up very quickly and the amount of steam is great for the quilting I do. It is also wonderful for getting wrinkles out of my husband’s shirts that have sat too long in the ironing basket!😜

Great iron - odd design
I enjoy this iron. It was recommended by a quilter friend. No leaking like my old iron and the steam feature is wonderful. I'm not a fan of the cord, it doesn't swivel as much as I would like and seems like it's always in the way. Maybe over time once it's "broken" in - that might change. It's also loud, with a gurgle sound. Other than that - good choice.

Excellent choice of iron
I love this iron. It heats up so fast and the steam output is great. Replacing an older Tfal iron and the difference is enormous. One pass over and it's not wrinkly anymore - easy!! The noise the steamer makes is not annoying. Just noticeable at first. Now it's just part of the magic.

Wow, it works great getting wrinkles out of cotton fabric with one swipe of the iron. I had it on Auto setting and was so surprised. I sew and quilt andvthis iron is perfect

Unbelievable product. Steam performance is outstanding. Have only used it a couple times but well liked. The steam is so powerful even on a lower setting its easy to steam fingers too!!
