Description
With an ExtendFresh(TM) Plus sensor system that monitors temperature, this KitchenAid French-door refrigerator helps keep food fresh longer. SatinGlide(TM) humidity controlled crispers and a temperature-controlled pantry offer organized storage, along with adjustable shelves that let you maximize your space. The ENERGY STAR® refrigerator also has a produce preserver that keeps veggies and fruits from over-ripening. The automatic ice maker and interior dispenser let you access cool, filtered water and ice in an instant.

- SatinGlide® System offers smooth operation and stability using stainless steel ball-bearing rollers that allow shelves to extend smoothly, even when fully loaded
- Max cool - when selected, automatically adjusts the temperature in the refrigerator and freezer to the lowest setting when appropriate
- LED lighting illuminates the inside of the refrigerator and freezer giving for better visibility

Who's in charge of design?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second time I've purchased this particular model. The first one was great, except that the design of the lower cheese drawer had a ver squeaky wheel that I find most annoying. The new one replaced that with a much better design - a simple plastic slide that doesn't squeak. However, the first one had a well-designed interior water dispenser. Press the glass against the switch, and water was dispensed. The new design requires two hands! What? What fool came up with that idea? The first one had a nice tall ice bin with an ice scoop. The new one has a flat bin that takes more room, with no dispenser. Cost savings, I suppose. I'm not impressed. I won't buy a third of this model.

A Terrific Workhorse!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second refrigerator in 18 years and the second one of this same model I purchased. I have loved this refrigerator We're so glad they still make it, so I was able to exactly replace it. My old one for the record, still worked, but was just looking a little beat up. 18 years three kids, many many many parties Always plenty of room plenty of ice plenty of cold water filtered This refrigerator has tons of space and then some! We love the newer, sleek design, and are enjoying all of the features We have enjoyed previously. We even built our new kitchen around this refrigerator. It is not counter depth, but worth every inch!!!

Beautiful but loud
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the clean look of this refrigerator and the features inside are of good quality. The issue that we have is that it is very loud. I can hear it run in our bedroom which is quite a ways away from the kitchen. We have had a repair person out to look at it and they say nothing is wrong. We have only had it a month and really I wish we could return it for a different, quieter model.

Water is Great, Left door not so much.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had it for a month now, and only one issue. The left side door takes an extra push to close it. Tends to not quite close often times. Right side has no such problem, self closes fine. Love the inside water dispenser! Thought I would not like this, but water is much colder than the last refrigerator that had water on outside of door. (Was not a Kitchen Aid).

We do like fridge and is second one we have purch.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We like the interior size along with wine rack. The freezer door could be designed better. When you pull it out you have grasp the middle of handle. If you pull from left side it binds a bit. Had same model about 15 years eat model and out didn’t do this. We have a hardwood floor and the wheels should be wider as this fridge is heavy and has marked floor
