Styrofoam?
I bought this to replace our filter but didnt realize it was styrofoam, you dont want this crap anywhere near your body, find a paper one instead

Works as intended
I change mine every 6 months and it always has visible sediment. In combination with a Rainfresh UV system our well water has been 0/0 coliform/e-coli for 3 years straight. Doesn’t impact water pressure.

Good filter
easy to install of course and had little impact on the water pressure when installed properly. I have it as a pre-filter to my 1-micron filter to filter my well water. It does the job of filtering the large sediments, but a 1-micron filter is a must for well water. You'll know within a few days what I mean if you have on installed.
