Description
This drinking water system from Rainfresh, model UCS3, comes complete with CF2 block activated carbon, 1M ceramic cartridges, faucet, tubes and Accu-Link fittings for quick installation. It traps and kills 99.99% of all harmful bacteria (E.coli and more) and traps 99.9% of cysts. It also reduces chlorine, lead, lindane (a common pesticide), VOCS, THMS, taste, odour, colour and filters sediment as small as 0.3 microns.

Will 3 filter system transform lake water into drinking water?
Yes the Rainfresh Drinking Water System 3 (RONA 1196048) can make lake water safe to drink. It removes >99.9999% bacteria (including E. coli), >99.95% parasitic cysts, reduces chemicals, lead, bad tastes and odours and sediment down to 0.3 micron. It installs under the sink and provides a constant supply of clean, fresh, safe and great-tasting water. We do recommend having the water tested regularly at a certified laboratory to ensure that the unit is performing as intended.
