Don’t waste your time! Find a non Rainbird product
Rain bird tubing is not very good. It requires a heat gun to easily install fittings (elbows, tees, etc). Knowing this, allows you to assemble easily, but if you don’t have a heat gun, it’s a pain. Rain bird 1/4” tubing for the drip irrigation components is also very hard to work with, being inflexible to the point, that we leave a whole bundle in the hot tub to soften it up for usage. We have bought other brands and they are flexible at a decent range of temperatures. The chemists that make these types of tubing, need to look at their polymer formula, because it is wrong for this application. We will avoid all rain bird products. The frustration is just not worth the effort. Retired man, worked with pipes, valves and mechanical stuff all my life. Do not recommend
