Description
The Protective Coating beige epoxy adhesive is used outdoors and indoors on all types of wood. Made from real wood, it is ideal to rebuild, shape and mold pieces of rotted wood after the area has been treated with wood hardener. Given that the cured epoxy (in 24 hours) acts like real wood, it can be sanded, drilled, screwed, nailed and sawed. This peanut-butter-like consistency product is resistant to shrinking and cracking. It has also a good resistance to weather, mildew, UV light, fresh and salt water and also chemicals present in pressure-treated wood. It is recommended to use separate knives to remove amount needed, to mix equal parts A and B on a flat clean surface until a uniform color is achieved. Before applying, denatured alcohol can be used to clean surfaces. It comes in a 2 oz. format.

- Resists shrinking and cracking, waterproof, non-brittle, apply vertically or horizontally
- Sand, nail, drill and screw; tint, stain, prime and paint
- Application temperature range of 35 to 115 degrees F and a service temperature range of -20 to +200 degrees F
- Paste consistency reduces drips and sags while hardening
- Provides work time of 30 to 40 minutes (at 70 degrees F) to allow for adjustments
- Tintable with pigment powder or dispersion
- Can be sanded, primed, painted, and stained within 24 hours
