These windows leak
The windows leak in the corners and the water accumulates in the trough and during prolonged rains it will spill over down onto the untreated floor. I was suspicious but I couldn't understand how the water was getting in. I thought if I caulked all around them then the problem would be solved. Finally, during a storm, I made my way to the shed and observed what was going on. A picture is attached. I'm now unsure what to do as the the siding has been cut to accommodate them and I would have difficult time removing them to return them.
A second unpleasant problem is that they are not square. It's all the more noticeable as everything else on the shed is plum. Before I permanently installed them I exchanged two of them for less wonky ones.
I bought these because they were made in Canada thinking I would have a measure of quality assurance - i.e. defect free, durable and uv resistant. Plus, the window aesthetics were pleasing to the eye.
I just don't know what to do at this point as I installed five of these and all leak one way or another depending which direction the rain is coming from.
