Description
Connect materials such as sheet metal, plastic and fibreglass with 1/4-in dia Precision nuts. Aluminum makes them light enough for easy handling and installation. Practical for outdoor applications, they have a rust-resistant makeup. Finish the job early with these nuts as they remove the need to weld, tap or braze. There are five fittings, an Allen key and a screw in every kit.

Perfect Solution
I bought this to be able to put eyebolts into the seats on my aluminum fishing boat to fasten the bumpers too. They worked perfectly. The only issue I had with them was that I had to add a 5/16” nut to use as a spacer because there was not enough threads on the enclosed screw to fully collapse the rivet. After I did that they were very solid and secured my eyebolts perfectly. Shipping was very fast. I am very happy.

Siezed immediately. Now I have even more work.
The bolt apparently cross threaded. It's very hard to tell because you have to apply significant force to squeeze the rivet on to the metal.
Now that the bolt is siezed my project is stalled and I'm going to have to waste time figuring out how to remove it.
