Easy to use
I went to get a less expensive roof rake they were out of stock so I bought this. Simple to set up and does a really good job of cutting through layered snow and ice. The cloth slide moves the snow well back from the wall

NOT IDEAL FOR LOW SLOPE ROOF
MY TAKE: My roof slope is 2/12 (approx 30-35deg) and using Snowpeeler does not cut it. Gravity factor is greatly diminished when you have low slope roof. As you slice through, the snow does not fall down as easy. Get a snow rake instead. But I still believe that this product will work greatly if you have at least 7/12 roof slope of more.
For PRODUCT QUALITY: I bought the 20ft shovel with 10ft extension kit for an additional price. There is no grip tape in the bar so it tends to slip. A jagged bar surface would be nice as a product improvement. It weighs a lot even if it's made with aluminum. With that weight and the resistance of pushing the tool onto the snow blanket, you would need a fit person to do the cleaning.
The material and structure of this product is actually excellent.
ONE LAST NOTE: Do not use this product if there weather is WINDY. This thing acts as a sail.

Bien s'assurer que l'inclinaison de votre toit est suffisante sinon vous devrez vous éloigner trop du toit pour réussir la manœuvre.

Physiquement moins dur qu'un rateau
Il suffit de lui faire faire un va et vient sur le toit pour que de gros blocs de neige se détachent et glissent sur la toile. L'effort nécessaire est beaucoup moindre que celui nécessaire pour un outil de type "rateau" qu'il faut soulever et lancer pour qu'il morde dans la neige.
