Can it be placed directly on a wood deck
I use a heat-reflective pad without having any issues but I think it does not get very hot on the bottom and could likely be placed directly on a deck, though I have not tried it myself.

Beautiful and Warm!
Great amount of heat !
Looks like picture - not really “concrete “ but grey metal .
Lightweight - hollow bottom.
Adjustable feet so tube can run under pit.
Super warm.
Cover that comes with it is a little cheap- we will likely buy a more durable one with the hopes of no rust over time.
Love the rim to hold drinks etc. On the edges.

Very little assembly
very little assembly required, a friend converted it to gas, it was quite easy, I am buying additional glass beads to disperse the flame better per my friends recommendation. However, there do supply lots of beads. Product was delivered early. I have used it twice, it works great and throws lots of heat.

Excellent outdoor heater!
This unit was easily converted to natural gas and provides enough heat to be able to sit outside in -1 degree weather comfortably.
