The safety features of this CSA-approved unit include an auto-shut off tilt switch for protection if the unit falls over. The lightweight heater can be placed on a side table or coffee table and is fuelled by a standard 1 lb. propane tank (not included.)

Can this be used with a regular 20 lb. BBQ type propane tank?
It can only be used with a 1lb propane tank. It wouldn't be safe to try to rig this up to a big tank. There are other patio heaters that use the 20lb tanks.
