Description
The snack shack bird feeder is designed to keep squirrels out and feed birds only. With weight activated perches, access to the seed tray is closed when squirrels try to eat from it. The overhanging roof provides protection from inclement weather and locks securely to prevent unwanted guests to open it. It can hold up to 7 lb of mixed seeds and has a saver baffle to prevent seed waste.

My sweety bought me one of these. It works great,squirrels deterred as promised. I have tried peanuts and sunflower seeds and mixed seed in here,all at different times. The peanuts seemed alittle hard for the birds to get out. So I mixed them with sunflower seeds. That helped them shuttle down to holes of feeder easier but birds still seemed to have a hard time with it. So next I put mixed seed in along and it is easy for birds to get at but you have to shake feeder every couple days so seed will fill feeding holes . Next I tried mixing the small mixed feed with sunflower seeds added. That helped alot for keeping food flowing to holes. I still shake feeder every couple days though just to keep food moving. Oh and the roof helps keep feed dry but still cakes at holes requiring you to shake every couple days. To remedy this we rolled kids crazy carpets ( winter sledding plastic sheet) into a cone and cut about 16 inches long keeps a bigger roof over food ,stays dry . And hilarious when squirrels try to access feeder

Enfin ! Une qui résiste aux écureuils.
Jusqu'à maintenant, résiste très bien aux écureuils et les oiseaux viennent. Nous la remplissons seulement du quart de sa capacité. Très satisfait du produit. Nous sommes retournés en acheté une deuxième.

Don't Buy This feeder
This feeder does not let the seed come down well. The water gets in and soaks the seed it goes hard and mildew. when the birds eat the seed that is close, nothing else falls...

Bien, mais pas la préférée.
Correct pour le prix mais j’ai dû ajouter des tiges de métal sous le toit pour empêcher les écureuils de se suspendre tête en bas pour manger! Aussi, il faut remuer de temps en temps pour faire descendre les graines de tournesols qui se coincent parfois, comme pour d’autres modèles du genre. Il y a quand même des oiseaux qui y vont mais moins que dans les autres mangeoires.

Don't buy it
I have several bird feeders used by many birds, but they don't use this one. The design doesn't allow them to eat comfortably. I'll buy the green Audobon Society model next time.
