I love my Oregon electric chain saw. So covienient!
Sharpening a chainsaw has always been a nuance, when your in the middle of the bush in the middle of work.
Accidentally hitting the ground is easily remedied at the push of a button, truly amazing.
It has a wonderful 18” chain when I only needed a 16” one , what a pluse
And power is not an issue. I always have a small generator or a a/c outlet built into my car.

This is a beast!
I bought this after reading many reviews. Seeing the power & chain specs. I wanted to see how it would handle 30" diameter ash logs. And this monster cut through them like butter. No b.s. this machine cut through them easily. More
than half one side, flip, then finish it. Not one problem. And this saw had no issues at all. I am not talking about 1 or 2 small logs here. I am talking 17 logs with a 28-31 inch width. I sharpened it twice. Probably didn't need to, but just to be sure.
It never jammed.
It never burned,
It never stopped for any reason, except the odd wrist touch to the emergency bar. Which is a good thing.
It never kicked back.
The fact you never need to pull a cord ever again is amazing!
It always cuts true, use the bumper to keep your cuts even.
It requires oil. Alot of oil. But so does any chainsaw. Keep a check on it.
It has power. More than you would expect.
Never, ever had the chain pop off. If it did for the other reviewers, you need to read the manual. If you dont understand the manual. Go to youtube. Any loose chain will pop off. Check it regularly! They do get loose over time! Never check it when it is HOT!
Clean & maintain your saw always. After every couple.of cuts or job. Depending. Just like you should any chainsaw.
So far, after slicing up massive logs with only an 18" electric. Have to say, they made a good quality product.
The built in sharpener is your best friend! Use it. Know when to sharpen. If it looks like dust coming out & not tiny chips. Sharpen for 3-5 seconds. Guaranteed it will cut like new.
This is an amazing step in electric chainsaws for home owners! Not recommended for felling trees. Because of it using a cord. But anything else? It will get the job done.
Nevermind the bad reviews. Sometimes people just don't read manuals, study online videos, or have the aptitude to use machinery.
This is a well built, well thought out saw. Period.

Easy to handle
I needed a corded chainsaw for various trimming and wood cutting around the yard. I was impressed with the description of this product and it did not disappoint. The tool is a decent weight, easy to handle and not very loud, although I still use hearing protection when I use it. Excellent design.

Good performance
I bought this three months ago. I’ve used it for 6 hour days. It cuts well through thick logs/tree trunks (12” diameter). You need to keep adding oil in order to keep it lubricated (so that’s on operator). I like the light weight and for me, a woman, it handles well. Cleaning it is easy. No kick back (as long as you know what you’re doing). I’m going to purchase a replacement chain & stone just so I have it on hand. i used the Oregon ball & chain oil.

Nice littlw saw....
I have a 60cc gas saw for cutting firewood but sometimes I found the want of a small electric saw for pruning or trimming a stick of firewood that was a bit too long and I didn't want to bother with the gas machine. I tested it on a 6" dia green maple branch and it was fine. If you don't push it too hard it should be fine, I like the self sharpening feature.

A well implemented tool
The manual is well written. The chainsaw is a treat to use. I particularly like the on board sharpener. The motor has the power to cut through my 56 inch in diameter American Elm tree stump without bogging down.
