Description
The Skil Orbital Action Jigsaw features a 5.5 A motor and a unique stable foot design for more controlled starts. Designed with a four-position orbit cut control to select fast or smooth types of cuts, this jigsaw also has a variable speed trigger to adjust the cutting speed. The tool-less blade changes and foot adjustments lets you swap out T and U shank blades and change your angle quickly.

Dust control is terrible
My biggest complaint is that is blows sawdust up into my face when cutting. I used safety glasses and the dust just blows right up under the lenses. It is such a problem I use it as a last resort.

Allen key missing
I appreciate very much this tool but there should be an allen key to change the angle . I cannot unscrew the screw because there'a no allen key in the box. Can you tell me how to unscrew?

The jig is up, then down, then up...
Silly me, took a hot minute to remember the variable speed control and if you don't already know Cedar is a %!^@#, well IT IS! Does it continue to grow even after cut into lumber?! Madness!!!
Once I got the throttling down though it cut smooth as butter, oh...
...wait a minute...
...that was my finger!!!
Well so I guess I can't give it two thumbs but I'll give it one thumb up and one somewhere under the table! Ha!! Just kidding, I'm alright, safety first right? I make the kids do all the cutting since they are still growing! Got your nose though.
A 13 out of 10, only an 11 if you don't use them Diablo blades. Skil's are decent enough but a lil' too roaming in those denser areas and did more of a ripping than precision smooth cutting but the machine is a dream! Now if Skil would only make a cordless version...

Great Jigsaw, Easy to Use
This jigsaw proved incredibly handy while installing a new laminate floor in our family room. The saw offers a good grip, multiple speeds, and a right length power cord.Swapping out saw blades proved real easy. I am so glad I used this saw because it made this project a lot easier.

Out of the box
I have just taken the saw out of the box. I have plugged it in and inserted a blade. I had a piece of lumber, so I made some cuts. The were clean and straight. I will be doing some small projects once the weather warms up a little. I feel that the cuts I have to make will come out great

Great laser guided cutting!
I have used this jig saw in some very tough situations that I couldn't get my saber saw into and it did a marvelous job. The laser is nice and bright and makes it really easy to make accurate cuts, especially long cuts where it is easy to get off track.
