May be used on new wood, pressure-treated wood, weathered wood, and weathered stained or painted wood.

Faded in many spots after one winter
Applied this to new, clean wood. Looked great until following spring. It looks like it was stained. 10 yeqrs ago. When the deck is wet now, the water goes straight into the wood i.e. no waterproofing. Now I have to strip it ans re-stain after 8 months. Would not buy again even though they did send me a refund.

Horrible product, does not last. Came off randomly
I applied 2 coating of this stain last summer in a reasonably warm day and it started to wear off within a couple of months. Now I am having patches all over the deck. Considering their so called 6 years warranty, this is a very inferior product.
