"Maximum" solid color stain by "Olympic" provides an opaque finish that allows the wood texture to show through. Our superior formulation of 100% acrylic resins guarantees maximum beauty and protection. Recommended for use on exterior wood decks, fences, siding, railings, outdoor furniture and other wood surfaces. After six years, it looks as good as day one!!!
I bought this product six years ago.
I painted my new fence with this beautiful cedar solid stain colour.
It looks like new still!!!
I am painting the remaining wood parts of my house with this product soon.
This stuff is the best. Hope it stays on the shelf for everyone else.

Held up well over summer and first winter
Applied in April / May 2020 - until now April 2021 it has held up well. The deck faces south so gets a lot of sun in the summer and as a result there was some slight fading but still looks ok. Had to touch up a couple of small areas but i think this is mainly due to the wood being about 20 yrs old. By the way service at RONA curbside pick up during the start of the pandemic was great.

Great product
This was my late summer project, sand down a deck and pergola, on the (“ extra room” ) rear deck of my house.
Many hours of sanding, prepping later, and doing some research, decided on Olympic Maximum ( semi transparent) for decking, solid stain on pergola, stair risers, deck outer framing. I chose Ebony for a modern twist, in style and contrast, happy to report stain has held up very well to heat and it’s first winter.
