The diamond-like acrylic ice ember bed sparkles, and you can choose from 7 different colour themes to suit your mood. The flame technology gives a realistic look to the fireplace, while the front glass stays cool to the touch for safety. It includes a remote control, and the unit can be used with or without heat for year-round enjoyment.

Nice looking unit
I bought this unit to fill an odd space in our home knowing it could be hung on the wall or free standing. I built a unit for it to hang on, but the hanger I didn’t feel the hanger extended far enough into the unit to hold it securely so I built a different unit it could sit on and be supported from the rear. Overall, I am pleased with the result.

Noisy flame motor...
Flame effect looks good and heater works well. After 2 days, flame motor started making noise... we contacted Dimplex and got a replacement a week later... After 4 days, the replacement unit started to make the same wining noise... I only tried 2 units but we do not recomment this model. We really wanted to like it.

Solidly built, good price point
Purchased about a month ago, and so far everything is as advertised. Flame effect is well rendered and the unit runs quietly in the background. My only criticism of the unit would be that the fan doesn't move a great deal of warm air, and what it does move is directed straight up from the unit instead of being vented more to the front of the unit (vent baffles are straight up and down, not cantilevered). A small detail, but it does take the heat a bit longer to reach the sitting area of the room and precludes any type of shelf anywhere above the unit.
Happy with my purchase and hope to get many years of service out of it.

Looks great, unsure on heating
It looks great. flush into wall, with glass framing it nicely. Heating vent is in the wall... so heat travels up the inside of drywall - wall. Not sure how the heat is to heat the room.

Can't Wait!!!
We are happy with the company, very prompt preparation and shipping of product. We haven't opened the box yet, because our house is under remodeling and didn't get to the fireplace part yet. Will update as soon as we get there!
