Description
Nature's Generator has 2 natural ways of producing free electricity. The first is through the included solar panels and the second through the wind turbine port which can be purchased separately. The system consists of a battery that stores the electrical energy and a state-of-the-art electronic system that converts the 12 volts into standard household electricity. As well as being silent, this model doesn't need petrol to run, so it doesn't emit toxic fumes like popular gas generators. With the solar panel included, it's a complete solar electricity generation and storage unit. It generates its own electricity and stores it for use when you need it. The Platinum system includes the generator, power module, three 100-watt solar panels, a robust universal trolley, application access and a one-year warranty. Assembly required.

How big of a system do I need for a five bedroom 2500 square-foot home with a basement suite
That area would necessitate many panels, parts, hookups, batteries, containment, maintenance - You are better off using a windmill, (if you have appropriate amount of land - check local regulations), or a full roof, (see Tesla solar roof), or at the very least a lawn of solar panels. Drive around, look for an example of your needs, met with alternative power, and ask. Do your research as you are looking at a $10,000.00 - $25,000.00 investment. Do you really need to go all in? Is this a back up? If so, and you are preparing for an emergency, you can close off part of your house and operate essentials from the Nature's Generator. If going off grid this is one of those times to not cheap out in your initial outfitting. It should pay for itself over time, either way.

New solar generator
Pretty impressive, only one I found has roots in the USA, solidly built, all connected and working great. Have my refrigerator plugged in and with solar panels deployed the unit keeps charged. Hope I won't need it in an emergency but in the meantime plan on reducing some of my utility consumption!
