Can’t Close Battery Door
Received this as a Christmas gift and just gearing it up for BBQ season but I cannot get the battery door to close after numerous attempts. Very poor design.

I haven't use it a lot but the first impression is very good. Well built, bright enough though I'm planning on buying another one because I like to keep my grilling surface very bright.

Bon appareil mais l’étanchéité est à revoir!
J’ai acheté ce produit il y a 2 ans et il a bien performé tout ce temps, mais il vient tout juste de me lâcher… l’eau s’est infiltré à l’intérieur et a fait lâcher l’électronique.
Je m’attendais à plus de durabilité, surtout pour le prix payé!

Not sure about the light, I didn't get past the battery door
Design for battery door is scarcely believable. Once three batteries are inserted, closing the door is almost an impossibility without cutting your fingers or...breaking off the metal conductors on the underside of the door.
...I did both.
I'm sure it's a great BBQ light and I'm going to ask my Napoleon dealer to replace it but there has to be a more simple way to engineer the battery door. This isn't good enough for a premier product from a premier brand.

Great little light.
Now the days are getting shorter. This is becoming one of my favourite accessories. It does a fantastic job at lighting up the whole grill Prestige 500 RSIB. My only request is to add a tilt switch that turns the light off when the lid is closed. I may try to modify mine to add that.
