My regular Winter purchase
I get through about a bucket a week during the leanest part of winter here in Garden Bay. It feeds a variety of birds, including Juncos, Varied Thrushes, Spotted Towhees, Steller's Jays, Red-breasted Nuthatches and Chestnut-backed Chickadees. The wheat is mostly ignored but still disappears as I suspect small mammals pick up the residue during the night as it all eventually vanishes. Steller's Jays tend to fill their crops and stash the sunflower seeds and the few peanuts which are both also favoured by the Columbian Squirrels.

Birds love it!
No cornmeal so the birds don’t waste the seed by trying to knock it out of the planter.
