I had an old moen shower/tub faucet set that I want to replace, it requires and additional adapter to fit the new faucets, the new moen faucets don't fit the old plumbing - any suggestions on what would be required?
Hello LisD and thank you for your interest in Moen products. If you have a Moen standard valve with escutcheon screws located at 5 & 7, the 145058 adapter will allow you to install Moentrol trim kits that use a 7" round escutcheon, except for the Flara, Doux, Weymouth, Arris, 90 Degree or Voss product lines. The Moentrol line is being retired, and new trim options are limited. The Moen 2510 valve is only compatible with Moen Positemp trim; Positemp trim is not compatible with the standard valve. My Moen has suddenly stopped allowing hot water to come out. Six inches away on the other side of the partition the hot water flows freely into the bath tub.

Is there a replacement clip for shower valve. I lost the valve cartridge clip inside the wall
