I GOT MOEN ADLER ONE HANDLE TUB AND SHOWER FAUCET....PROBLEM TOO MUCH WATER COMES CAN NOT REDUCE THE HOT WATER WHEN I MOVE THE HANDLE RIGHT COLD SIDE TO HOT LEFT SIDE....NORMALLY MY OTHER MOEN TAP I CAN REDUCE THE PRESSURE OF WATER. NOT HAPPY WITH NEW TAP
All plumbing connections correctly, however hot water comes out where cold should be coming out and vice-versa. Looked it up on Youtube and a guy experienced the same problem and showed by removing, turning 360 degrees,issue resolved. Can I do this also?

I love the shower head part because it's very easy to change to different settings which is fun. I'm not a fan of the faucet because to get to hot, you have to pass through cold water. If I have a bath - turn off the water and want more hot water...well you must turn handle through cold first if you see what I mean and once I get to the hot -I can't control the volume. Also, faucet is not flush with the back plate because the wall is 6 inches deep (see photo)
