Can I use 18-18-21 right after planting vegetables and if not after how many days.
CAN Miracle-Gro Water Soluble Tomato, Fruit & Vegetable Plant Food may be used immediately on newly planted vegetables. When starting plants from seed, we recommend using at a lower dilution rate of 1/4 tsp per gallon of water until has grown beyond seedling stage. The product can be used at any time with bulbs. Straight fertilizers can be used right after transplanting. However, newly transplanted plants will be more susceptible to damage from over fertilizing so be careful to apply correct amount or slightly less than what is recommended. Seedlings do not apply till after the 2 leaf stage not until they've developed true leaves.

Works great on my habanero pepper plant
I bought this a month ago because I needed fertilizer for my habanero plant couldn’t find what was recommended in my price range. I found this and did a quick search and found that tomato and pepper plants are similar. Only thing I did different is I put pot ash and banana peels in the soil before using this and it boosted well I feed once a week just a lil sprinkle! Since using this I have grown two more peppers and a lil over 2 dozen flowers! Will up date and as picture in two weeks!

Great product
I’ve been using this for a few years. And the last couple years my plants have gotten 6 feet plus tall. And loaded with tomato’s.
But I have moved my garden around this year and I hope I get the same turn out. I e been told to rotate your plants. So we will see.

looking for expiration date on box
bought this 5 years ago last time I grew tomatoes in my garden and it was wonderful--but--. does anybody know if left over miracle gro tomato plant food 5 years old is still usable? there is no sell by date, no expiration date on the box

It's very difficult to dissolve in water.
Perhaps I'm doing something wrong, but I spend a few hours trying to get the dry food to totally dissolve in my tap water. Every 5-10 minutes, I shake the gallon jugs of water I've poured 1 TBSP of food into... and after s few hours I give up and water with what I have. Every time I shake the jugs I see bits of undissolved food in the bottom.
But, despite less than desirable planting conditions, my balcony tomato plants are covered in healthy green tomatoes! I honestly think the food is getting a lot!

Awesome!
I've had 8' Big boy tomato plants loaded with 7 sets of 7 tomatoes!!! Pics to prove it!
Had more tomato sauce and sandwich, salad tomato for several months! Why can't I find it in STORES!!!! ALSO Can't find Mir-acid for my peppers!!!

New formula - no micronutients
I have used used Scotts Company Miracle-GRO Tomatoes for a wide variety of plants for many years and I have been totally satisfied. This past month I went to buy another box and found it is now in a plastic box instead of cardboard box. When I compared the contents the new formula only contains NPK and no micronutrients. What's up? For proper plant feed we need those micronutrients. I won't use or recommend this product anymore.

Needs Calcium
Was disappointed to learn this formula does not contain calcium - essential to prevent blossom root. All calcium and you'd have a great product. Will have to look elsewhere.
And yeah - I know about all those other tips about preventing blossom rot. That's done. And my plants still need calcium.

Good growth and best harvests
I've been using this with shake and feed with my tomatoes and other vegetables (all in containers) for a few years now. I get outstanding growth with plenty of blooms and fruits. Vast improvement over my father in laws unfed vegetables. This combo never has burned my plants when used as directed. Also, all are planted in miracle grow potting soil. OUTSTANDING RESULTS!
