best product ever
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] my kitchen cabinets are solid wood with beautiful grain but are old, brown and made the kitchen dark. i wanted to keep the wood grain but lighten the cabinets. minwax wood finish was the answer. easy to use, water-based, one coat, fast drying and best of all, amazing results. you would be making a mistake to use anything but this product! thank you, minwax!

Great stain and finishing products.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently stripped and refinished an antique sewing machine cabinet using Minwax wood finish penetrating stain, Sedona Red No 2 and Minwax Clear polyurethane. It came out great. Thank you, Minwax, for your easy to use stains and finishes!

2 cans-Same color -2 Different colors on Wood
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a quart can Ipswich Pine 221. Loved the color for my handmade bar piece for my new home build in my kitchen. Bought a gallon of the same color to stain 8 new Solid Wood doors for my new home and wanted them the same color as the bar piece. Did 3 of the doors and brought one into the house...Boy is the color not the same. Very disappointed and now have 3 ruined doors that cost too much to throw out. Not sure what to do with them now. Just to be sure I did a sample after the fact, stirred both stains for the same amount of time and they are definitely different. The lighter color in my pic is the color I love from the quart, the reddish color is from the gallon. The color reminds me more of Gunstock, which I did not want.
