Dissapointed!!!
Purchased this freezer yesterday from our local Rona Garden Center. It was the only one in stock, bought it off the floor. We had liked the convenience of an upright with shelves vs our chest freezer. We waited several hours before plugging it in as we had to lay it on its side for 30 minutes to transport it home. We unloaded the contents of our chest freezer yesterday afternoon and turned the freezer temperature to just below max. This morning I inspected the contents and had noticed that the ice cubes which were in a bag on the top shelf appeared wet, I adjusted the freezer temperature to the coldest setting. This evening I checked the contents again. Ice is now being to melt, bread on the bottom shelf is becoming soft. So dissapointed! Will be removing contents and putting them back into our chest freezer and having to make arrangements to return the new Media upright freezer to Rona for a refund.

This freezer didn't work right from the start. We plugged it in and nothing happened. Midea customer service eventually sent us a refund cheque but it was in US dollars and when I cashed it, we ended up not getting a full refund because of the exchange rate. This is clearly a budget brand, as the price is half that of all the other freezers. Lesson learned. I will be purchasing a more reputable brand named freezer.
