can you trim this door so the dimensions are 30"w x 76 1/4 H?
You can , I did trim it to 77. However you will leave an empty gap. There is not a lot of wood (if you can call it that) in the top or the bottom. I cut a 1-1/8 thick strip to refill it. Glued and clamped , took about 10 minutes , less drying time. At least it has real wood in the base.

What is the exact size of 28"x 80" door? What is the required opening size.
If my room is white, as the finished is already primer, will I have to paint it in white ? Can I just install the door with the primer color ? I am looking for white doors that I won't need to paint
