It is engineered with the power to run framing, roofing, or siding crew, and is versatile enough to run a team of finish nailers simultaneously. THE TANK™ offers serious pros next level compressor, which provides the most demanding framer no downtime while driving nails flush.
- Capacity and PSI to simultaneously run (3) framing nailers or (4) siding nailers or (4) roofing nailers at the same rate of production as a traditional jobsite compressor

Super Great Compressor!

A Nice Capable Compressor
I bought this "The Tank 8 Gal....", about 3 weeks ago and it works great. The running compressor is relatively quiet and gets up to pressure quickly. Easy to move around. I would like to see a couple of brackets welded on this unit to coil up at least a 50' ft heavy duty air hose on and a longer power cord. Otherwise, a really nice unit and a great buy!

Great compressor for around the house,
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this model 4 months ago and I’m more than pleased it’s quick to fill and holds the pressure. Quality materials compared to others, and a big plus for me is it’s easy to carry and the size is easy to store. I really can’t find anything negative about this compressor, I guess time will tell.

Best air compressor for 2023
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking at comparable Rolair and Makita compressors with this one. The Tank is lighter, quieter, and cheaper than the others while beating them. I also like the foldability of the handle. It can fit under the cover of my truck.

Bought this last year for a 7,000 km RV trip we did. Stored great under the dining room bench. Worked great and used it at home in the condo on the balcony. Great unit for blowing out filters and cleaning out vacuum. I bought a cheap accessory pack at Rona worked ok as Metabo never had a kit available at Rona for me to purchase.

Fence Building Superstar—The Tank
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started my fence with an older wheeled compressor that was pretty worn out. It could not build up enough pressure to drive galvanized ring nails, I quickly discovered. Besides that, it was a beast to move around my sloped yard. The Metabo “Tank” solved both problems in a hurry. I had to tone it down a ways to get the nail heads driven just right, but once I had it dialed in, it worked consistently, and had plenty of staying power in the tank. It was at least a third quieter than the old compressor as well. For a 69 year old, it was pretty agreeable to haul around as I worked. Five hundred fence boards later, I think the fence turned out pretty nice!
