Description
The Metabo HPT twin stack compressor features an oil-lubricated cast iron pump for cooler operation, and a 15 Amp direct-drive induction motor to withstand heavy-duty uses in many conditions, ensuring greater longevity. The motor is protected by thermal overload protection that shuts it down in case of overheating. A built-in pressure switch means less cycling while locking regulator optimizes pressure control for your tool. Weighing just 52.9 lbs., the EC99S also comes with an ergonomic carrying handle, making it easy to transport around any jobsite. A universal quick coupler for fast tool changes and steel encased industrial gauges are factory installed on the unit so it's ready to go right out of the box.

Quiet and powerful
I have owned this compressor for over a year and like that it is more quiet than my old one. I bought it mainly to drive an impact wrench for automotive work and occasional chiseling. It was difficult to find one in this price range that could do these things. I’m happy with it.

I bought this for my Birthday. What an improvement over my wheeled 20 gal. The biggest thing is the very short run time to get to operating pressure. I should gotten one a long time ago

Love your tools
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just bought the 4gal. portable compressor. I see it all over construction sites wherever I go. I have a General Contractors License and have been using your tools for years. They have never disappointed me. I own 2 framing guns and 2 coil guns as well.
