Description
Polish metal to shine with a Metabo HPT cordless grinder. The brushless motor lives long with little maintenance. This 36-volt grinder allows the choice between corded and battery power and includes a switch for switching between manual and continual usage.
- MULTIVOLT: AC/DC convenience meaning the tool can be powered by a MultiVolt battery or the MultiVolt AC adapter (both sold separately)
- MOTOR: Brushless Motor Technology for more runtime, increased power and extended durability with essentially no maintenance
- SLIDE SWITCH: Slide switch with lock-on feature for continuous operation applications
- GRIP: Slim grip circumference reduces fatigue and improves control, especially during continuous use applications
- SPEED ADJUSTMENT: Variable speed with dial auto mode: produces 3,000 to 9,500 RPM (1-5) and 5,500 to 9,500 RPM (A) to easily adjust the speed best suited for the application
- SAFETY FEATURES: Brake, soft start, 0-voltage restart, anti-kick back, over current protection
- SIDE HANDLE: Vibration absorbing side handle

Smooth. Solid. Powerful.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to cut the cord. I use a grinder for mainly rebar and ready rod for framing and forming. Also for paddle wheel sanding of wood. This tool keeps up! It balances best with the smaller 2.5 multivolt batteries but thats the only criticism I have.
I stepped into metabo HPT knowing Hitachi and metabo were hard wearing. Picked a multi volt skill saw and the 18volt framing nailer. Adding the grinder was a no brainers. It's awesome. 36v is really powerful for what I need it for.
