- Variable speed mode is controlled by a dial with speeds ranging from 1 to 5 (6,000 to 20,000 OPM)
- Auto speed mode allows the tool to determine the appropriate speed of oscillation (15,000 to 20,000 OPM) based on the load, which lowers vibration, reduces noise and increases tool life
