Excellent unit

Useful and well made
Tried a couple different cordless orbital sanders over the years but this Metabo hpt sander was a pleasure to use if I compare it to others . First the sanding is smooth and the sander works great there is not much ''drag''. I was also impressed by the dust collection wich is a must in any modern tool .Also the fact that you can use your lightweight 18v battery or the powerful 36v one is definitly an advantage. the only thing I would have liked is a zipper on the dust collection pouch. I do recommend this sander.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ive been using this for 1.5 years now and the battery life with a 36v batt is amazing. It can go all day , I could do with a better dust bag style when i dont have shopvac but either way still works great!

Great Sander
I bought this a few months ago to use for sanding 4X4 pieces I made into carpenter bee traps. Little did I know this side job took off and I had to start mass producing them. This sander has held up great and took has not missed a beat. It has been dropped many times and still going strong.

Very pleased with performance. Comfortable in my hand. Coupled with quality abrasives does a very good job from coarse to fine sanding.

Cordless Palm Sander
This is an aggressive sander that leaves no swirl patterns . It works great for both polishing metal and sanding wood. I use it more than any of my other power tools. Great value!
